Application Requirements

Applicants are required to have a 2.5 GPA or higher to be considered by the Foundation. The application must be completed including all three parts and submitted to:

If the applicant is approved, an additional form called the Request for Scholarship and Book Payment will be required to receive scholarship funds. The form can be downloaded from this site by navigating to the Application page or selecting download application from the left column of this page. A copy of your official transcript for the prior semester or quarter, the final bill for current tuition (listing all charges and scholarships), and copies of receipts for books purchased must be attached for the payment to be made.

Ongoing Funding Requirements (Awarded Scholarships)

1. You must provide the Foundation with your prior semester/quarter grades and a copy of your bill for tuition, fees, books, as well as a listing of any other grants and scholarships you are receiving.
2. Future scholarship awards will be based on the amount approved. However, this amount can be adjusted each semester/quarter. The award will be limited to the lesser of the net of your tuition, fees, and books, less any other grants and scholarships received.

Reporting Requirements (Awarded Scholarships)

1. You must maintain a 2.5 GPA. If your GPA falls below 2.5, the Directors will consider your scholarship request based on your circumstance and an explanation of the GPA being below the 2.5 requirement. It will be totally at the discretion of the Directors to approve or disapprove your request.
2. You must refund the Foundation for any portion of the funds not used for the purpose of the scholarship.
3. You must maintain records regarding classes taken, grades, tuition fees, scholarships and grants, etc., and make them available for inspection by the Foundation if requested.
4. You must use the funds received from the Foundation only for tuition, books and/or fees, such as lab fees, incidental to courses taken.
5. You must refrain from using the funds from the Foundation to influence the outcome of any specific public election, intervene in any political campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office, or conduct—directly or indirectly—any voter registration drive.
6. You must acknowledge that the funds received from the Foundation will not be distributed to an individual for travel or study unless the recipient is selected on an objective and non-discriminatory basis pursuant to procedures approved by the IRS.
7. No changes will be made in requirements for the amount allotted without the approval of the Foundation's Board of Directors.
